RESIDENT SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM

Attention All Interested Sub-Contractors!

HAJ is preparing to build phase III of Liberty Meadows Estates and wants to ensure all contractors are aware and have preparation time to ready their bid-proposals to the GC (Carlson Construction).

We will conduct a brief training on how contractors must comply and can receive Section 3 Preference in line with Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968.

Pre-Bid Shall Include:

• Project Overview and schedule

• How to complete the Section 3 forms

• Information on HAJ’s Resident Employment Skills Program as part of the project

Who Should Attend?

• Firms/Individuals interested in bidding for subcontracts on the project

TIME: 9:00AM – 10:00AM

LOCATION: 6 South Broadway Street, Joliet, Illinois 60436

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: All interested contractors; M/W/VBE’s are strongly encouraged to attend

UPON ARRIVAL AT HAJ: Tell the receptionist that you are there for the Pre-Bid

HAJ is excited to bring another multi-million dollar development project to Joliet and looks forward to strong participation by local contractors including minority and women owned businesses. If you are a Veteran please convey that at time of award of contract so we can track that data. HAJ Residents must receive preference in hiring.
