We employ 60 individuals in Joliet with locations throughout the City. Our staff consists of Property Management,
Financial, Social Services, Housing Inspections, Technical, Human Resources, Leasing, Skilled/Semi-skilled

How long will my application remain active?
Applications are kept on file for one year. During that period, you do not have to submit a new application to apply for any other job
posting. Instead, contact the Human Resources office at (815) 727-0611 ext. 141 to notify our staff that you would like to be considered
for another opening. An applicant is responsible for contacting us if they wish to be considered for a specific opening. HAJ reserves
the right to contact qualified applicants to learn if they have an interest in a job opening.

When does recruitment for posted positions end?
We typically post positions for ten (10) days. HAJ reposts jobs if an insufficient number of qualified applicants have applied for an
opening. Once a sufficient applicant pool is created, recruitment for that opening is closed, and no further applications are accepted.
HAJ reserves the right to close recruitment for posted positions without notice.

What happens after I submit my application?
The application is forwarded to the Human Resources (HR) department. The Chief Administrative Officer will review all applications
received and forward them to the appropriate manager for further screening. After the manager identifies the applicants to be interviewed,
the HR Department contacts the selected candidates to arrange interview appointments. Once a selection is made, HR
notifies all interviewed candidates of the decision.

How can I find out about the status of my application?
The HR Department does not notify applicants if their application was received or if it was received by the closing date. The HR
Department will send notification to all applicants after the selection process is completed. If you are selected for an interview, you will
be contacted via telephone.
